The hotel can be easily reached by road as it is only two miles from either junction 42 or 43 of the M6 motorway making The Crown an ideal venue for delegates travelling from Scotland, the North West and the North East. For delegates travelling by rail the local railway station is just a short stroll from the hotel.

The Crown Hotel offers a choice of conference and meeting facilities all with FREE WiFi internet connection.

Featuring 6 meeting rooms including the Garden Suite, which can accommodate up to 140 delegates and opens onto the landscaped grounds of the hotel.

We can offer 24 hour rates, day delegate rates and individual room hire rates to give you the flexibility that you need for your event. Delegates on our 24 hour rates can also benefit from the use of our extensive leisure facilities.

The Conference Rooms

The hotel offers a selection of conference rooms, ideal for training, presentations, exhibitions, product launches and various sized parties.

Our main conference room, the Garden Suite, opens on to our patio & gardens offering delegates a pleasant area to sit during breaks in the meeting. The Garden Suite can accommodate 54 delegates in a boardroom set up or 140 theatre style. For smaller meetings we can divide the Garden Suite into two rooms, Garden Room 1 & Garden Room 2 - when divided each room has access to the garden area.

For smaller meetings we also have Loweholme which can accommodate 16 delegates boardroom style or 30 theatre style and is also ideal for use as a syndicate room. In addition we also have McLaren which can seat16 boardroom style or 25 theatre style.

If you just require a small room which would be ideal for interviews we can offer Edenbank which can accommodate a maximum of 4 delegates.
