An ideal conference and meeting venue for Carlisle - the hotel can be easily reached by road as it is only two miles from either junction 42 or 43 of the M6 perfect for delegates travelling from Scotland, the North West and the North East. If travelling by rail the local railway station is just a short stroll from the hotel.

The Conference Rooms

Our meeting rooms are suitable for all types of events from 2 to 140 delegates, including training sessions, presentations, exhibitions or product launches. We can also cater for private functions for up to 110 guests. All meeting rooms are bright and airy and have complimentary Wi-Fi connection.

Our main conference room, the Garden Suite, opens on to our beautiful landscaped gardens and patio area offering delegates a pleasant area to sit during refreshment breaks or for pre-dinner drinks. Alternatively, delegates can make use of the adjacent private Holmegate Bar. The Garden Suite is fully air conditioned and can accommodate up to 54 delegates in a boardroom set up,  140 theatre style or 110 for a private dinner. The Garden Suite can be sub divided into two smaller rooms, Garden Room 1 & Garden Room 2, offering the flexibility to have a main meeting room and adjacent syndicate room or breakout lunch area. When divided each room still has access to the garden and patio area.

For smaller meetings we also have Loweholme which can accommodate 16 delegates boardroom style or 30 theatre style and is also ideal for use as a syndicate room. In addition we also have the McLaren Room which can seat up to 16 boardroom style or 25 theatre style for a meeting. It is also the perfect setting for a private dinner or afternoon tea and can be set with an oval table or with comfortable sofas for a more informal feel..

If you just require a small room which would be ideal for interviews we can offer Edenbank which can accommodate a maximum of 4 delegates.

We can offer 24 hour residential rates, 8 hour day delegate rates and individual room hire rates to give you the flexibility that you need for your event. Delegates on a 24 hour rate can also benefit from the use of our extensive onsite leisure facilities.

Audio-Visual Equipment

Flip Chart, Pens, LCD Projector & Screen, TV & DVD Player are all included in our rates. If required, we can also offer a conference telephone call facility at no additional cost. Microphones and amplifiers can be hired for a small additional charge.

Theme Evenings

Special theme evenings can be arranged on request and your suggestions are welcome. We'll gladly tailor an evening's entertainment, and indeed your whole business booking, to your particular needs.
