On Friday 21st April, The Crown Hotel welcomed a small number of local businesses to their launch event. Together working with Cumbria LEP on their energy project, they also attended this event to celebrate The Crown's latest success project. General Manager Chris Mclaughlin opened the networking brunch and spoke about what the Crown has achieved over the last two years. Jen Cormack, representing the Cumbria LEP Board also spoke at the event explaining more about the Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership, the hospitality industry and the Cumbria market. Guests enjoyed brunch before taking part in the grand ribbon cutting outside the front of the hotel, followed by tours of the new bedrooms.
